The Get Ready Get Thru website tells us that we need a torch and spare batteries for our survival kit.
I am going to design and make an emergency light that is portable for my survival kit.
The website also says that we will need 3 litres per person per day for at least 3 days my family will need 45 litres of water. Image result for get ready get thru

weekly reflection

I have finished my static image. I was really pleased with my efforts in peak fitness. Something I have done for someone else is I let Holly borrow my charger without banquer charge.

We got off the plane and were shocked, New Zealand looked a lot like Aussie, it was so windy and drizzly and it was still summer. Mum and dad said that nz was peaceful and calm but she obviously didn’t mean here maybe in hawke's bay but definitely not here in wellington. Windy, wet Wellington. We called for a taxi and it came after having us waiting fifteen minutes and when it came we told the driver where we wanted to go and he just said “sweet as bro”. I Mean who says that, I'm not his bro. I told dad about the man thinking we were brothers and dad just said “it must be a kiwi thing”

We were dropped off at my mums friend called Ava’s house and she welcomed us by saying “hi cuzzies are you hungry”. I don’t understand these kiwis, I’m always hungry dad again said “it must be a kiwi thing”

Page three.

Mum and dad decided that they were too tired to cook and said we could get fish and chips. I said to the lady on the phone what I wanted and she was very confused when I asked for a daggle dog. Ava nudged me and told me to ask for a hot dog I did even though I didn't want a sausage in a bun. I was very surprised when I got a daggle dog and dad just said “it must be a kiwi thing”

We told Ava that we were going to buy some thongs and she just laughed and said we might not want to do that and that we should ask for “jandals” whatever they are. We did ask anyway and guess what we got? We got a pair of thongs. Dad just said “it must be a kiwi thing”
Kiwis are confusing.

We went on a day trip to a beach and Ava said can you please load the chilli bin and put in the car. “The what bin” I questioned and again she laughed. “go get the blue bin over there”  And she pointed at the eskie. Dad just said “it must be a kiwi thing”

At the beach I asked Ava where she put the cossies and she looked at me quizzically. I then spotted them and went to get my cossies. She looked at my cossies and looked as if she finally understood and said “oh you mean togs”. Dad just said “it must be a kiwi thing”

We had a picnic on the sand and Ava forgot to pack the vegemite and i complained and  she told me the weirdest thing ever. She said “handle the jandal”. And guess what dad said “it must be a kiwi thing”

Page eight

On the day we left for the airport. It was really busy and we had to push past loads of people and say goodbye to Ava. She thinks she’s so funny she even said to us “G’bye mates” Dad just shook his head and said “that’s not a kiwi or aussie thing”
